Clement Marot Hull was Master Potter for Van Briggle Pottery from 1946 until his death in 1965. Prior to his work at Van Briggle, he and his father Walter Austin Hull, wife Fran Hull, and sister Helene Mareau operated Hull Santa Fe Pottery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
